Clay & Sculpture
Grades K-6
While working in an enthusiastic and receptive environment, students will get the opportunity to work with many materials from ceramic clay to found objects as they create pieces that reflect their individuality. The instructor will lead them in understanding the components of the materials and guide them step-by-step through many sculpting techniques.
Drawing & Painting
Grades K-6
It's time get back to the drawing board! Here students will be exploring the foundation of the 2-dimensional world of the visual artist. The instructor will guide their artistic understanding from drawing into painting as they have fun exploring different materials and techniques used in both.
Journey with the Masters!
Grades K-6
Join us for a fun-filled journey with the great masters! Students will work with a variety of materials (drawing, painting, clay and more) as they develop technique and learn about the work and personal stories of many famous artists, past and present.
Pizza & Picasso
Grades K-6
Inspired by a different master artist each week, students will embark on their own personal "creative journey"! After learning some interesting facts about the featured artist, they'll explore a variety of materials at work stations dedicated to drawing, painting, clay and mixed media! We'll wrap up the day with pizza dinner as students discuss what they learned and share their creations, if they choose to, with their friends.
